The annual Blue Grass Blast was the worst event the club has held. Due to no vendor support, lack of direction and production and bad weather both days, the event was not a plesant one for me. No prizes were available to raffle. Saturday night winds prevented the dinner and bad weather late Saturday continued into Sunday with little to no competition activity. For the first time we were unable to meet the Regional requirements.

On a good note sixteen Club launches were held during the year including the club's first TRA experimental launch conducted at Sims Farm in early March. A second experimental launch was held in April.

• The Club ended the year with $1245 in 2010.

• Currently I do not have the club books and do not know what the expenses were for the year 2010.

• Competiton
  • We held three NAR sanctioned events this year, one open and two Regional Events.
  • The NAR Open Event was due to lack of competitors at BB10. The other two events were championed by Patrick Peterson.
  • We had 99 Fliers put up 427 flights this year - that is 94 less than last year.
  • We had 503 motors burned thats 49 less than last year.
  • We had a total impulse of 41,853N-S = P Motor.
    That is 9,080N-S more than last year.

  As always it is you who make BlueGrass Rocketry Society what it is today. Thanks to all who put in a lot of hard work in 2010 to make it a success and hopefully more people will hear about us and join in on the fun in 2011. It's been a hard year but hopefully everyone took something of value from our activities in 2010.

  Dues for the 2011 will remain at $20 and this includes launch fees for the year.
  Non-members will have a $5 launch fee, 1st time fliers are free.
  Children 16 and under free.
