As always it is you who make BlueGrass Rocketry Society what it is today. Thanks to all who put in a lot of hard work in 2014 to make it a success and hopefully more people will hear about us and join in on the fun in 2015. Thanks to all those who stick around after launch activities and help tear down the launch site after each launch. A special thanks and tip of the hat goes to Darryl Hankes for setting up at each launch and securing the waivers for both the Sod Farm and Sims Farm. Over the years Darrell has worked extremely hard to keep the club active and in good health.
This will be Darrell's last year as Prefect for the club. We need someone to step up and fill his shoes so the club will remain alive and active. If you are interested contact Darrell so he can show you what is required for the position.
The new site allowed for an increased number of flights and the use of more and higher impulse motors. Except for a few lost rockets due to the environment and launch mishaps, it was a great year.
We look forward to seeing you and your rockets in 2015.
Lets make this the best year yet - Get involved and Enjoy the Hobby.
Dues for the 2015 will remain at $20 and this includes launch fees for the year.
Non-members will have a $5 launch fee for model rockets and a $10.00 fee for HP Rockets, 1st time fliers are free.
