It was cold with the wind blowing. Started out very low clouds but cleared to partly cloudy around noontime. We had about 8 people at the launch. We had 3 fliers with 12 successful flights on 14 motors burned. The total impulse was 746.6 N-sec. (Aerotech J90W){54x243} .

    1. Patriot 18 (C6-5). Straight Flight. Recovery drifted toward West. Recovered by Don Branch. Thanks Don.
    2. D Squared (2xD12-5) Great flight. Rocket sustained damage due to burn through.
    3. Mini Magg (I195-7) Straight Flight. At apogee nose cone ejected and reoovery chute with chure release poped out at about 2600'. Rocket fell to 300' above pond when chute release activated and chute opened. Rocket continurd to drift West of pond where it landed between pond and a tree. First time use of chute release. Recovery by Darryl Hankes. Thanks Darryl.
    4. R2D2 (CB6-5) Good flight East of launch site. Recovery by Doug Branch. Thanks Doug.

    With the help of Ed Seward, Earl and Doug Branch, Darryl Hankes and my self take down and loading went quickly. Thanks for all the help and effort given. Come to our next launch and enjoy the fun.

    Our next Sport launch scheduled is April 14, 2018 at the Highland Sod Farm in Elizabethtown, KY .

    Launch Fees are $10.00 for HPR and $5.00 for low power per day
